Terms of use

Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of Tilo, an educational space for visual creation, collaboration and resource exploration.

Access to the service

Some features are available locally without an account. Cloud backup, sharing, collaboration, remote storage, billing and some optional tools require an account and internet connection.

Accounts

Users provide accurate information, protect their authentication methods and promptly report unauthorised access. Use by minors must comply with their organisation’s rules and be supervised by legal guardians or educators where required.

User content

Users retain their rights in content they create or import and grant Tilo only the permissions necessary to store, display, synchronise and share that content according to their choices.

Users confirm that they hold the necessary rights and permissions, particularly for imported images, videos, personal data and educational resources.

Prohibited uses

In particular, users must not:

• publish or share unlawful, misleading or violent content, or content that harms others;
• circumvent security controls, disrupt the service or attempt to access another person’s data;
• infringe intellectual property, privacy or data protection rights;
• collect or expose data about minors without appropriate authorisation.

Sharing and collaboration

The owner of a sequence controls its sharing level and assigned roles. Anyone with a link must protect it. Actions carried out in collaborative mode may be visible in real time and modify the shared document.

Artificial intelligence tools

AI features are optional and may rely on local models or third-party services. They may produce inaccurate or incomplete results that must be checked before educational use.

Users must not provide sensitive or confidential data to an AI feature without authorisation and appropriate safeguards.

Paid plans

Prices, quotas, duration, renewal and cancellation terms are shown before purchase. Additional sales terms and pre-contract information will be provided before paid plans are made available.

Availability and changes

Tilo may evolve, be temporarily interrupted for maintenance or experience downtime. The publisher aims to preserve document compatibility but does not guarantee that every experimental feature will be maintained.

Suspension and closure

Access may be suspended in the event of a security risk, unlawful use or serious breach of these terms. Users may close their account and should export any content they wish to keep before permanent deletion.

Personal data

How personal data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer protections remain applicable. Mediation and dispute resolution arrangements must be specified before plans are marketed to consumers.
